ARE YOU READY FOR THE CHALLENGE

The Tejas challenge course is made up of activities that require groups to work as a team and go beyond their comfort zone to accomplish a task. The entire experience is designed to challenge you physically, mentally, and spiritually as we encourage participants to apply what they learn to real life. There are two areas of our challenge course; the low elements and the high elements.

LOW ELEMENTS

The low elements are made up of games, initiatives, and low ropes elements that require the participation of six or more people. Games are used to facilitate interaction of group members and to encourage people to have a great time. Initiatives are challenging tasks that require the entire team to work together in order to complete the goal. The low ropes elements utilize structures that bring people off the ground from 4 inches to 3 feet and require focus and team work.

The typical process begins with simple group games, which advance to task oriented initiatives, then to problem solving physical elements that require patience and cooperation. The level of activities we offer for a group depends on their age, maturity, and ability to cooperate as a team.

HIGH ELEMENTS

High elements challenge participants to accomplish tasks while at a height of up to 50 feet. Our two high elements are the 50' climbing wall and zip lines. The climbing wall has four climbing routes. Two routes are beginner level, one is intermediate, and one is advanced. The zip line is accessed through ladders that ascend on the inside of the climbing tower to the top platform. Two zip lines travel from the top of the 50' tower to the ground.
