All of these activities are free of charge to all of our guests.
Climbing & Zip Tower
The 50 ft Tejas tower has four climbing routes (two average and two challenging), and two zip lines. You can climb your way to the top and have the ride of your life down the zip lines. Our 40' wall and zip line is also open during the summer.
Hayrides & Campfires
While at the camp, experience the countryside first hand on a real hayride and a roaring campfire. There are two locations for your campfire: the meadows campfire and the amphitheater. We can take you and your group on a hayride and then to either campfire area where the fire will be waiting for you. Roasting skewers can be provided. The hayrides are available starting no later than 11:00pm.
Disc Golf
If your looking for a relaxing afternoon or a competitive team contest, disc golf is the game to play. Our 18 hole course takes you around most of the camp property and challenges your disc throwing abilities. The course is open at any time. Tejas discs and maps are provided during the day.
Covered Basketball Court
Our covered gym is always a great place to play basketball or any other type of game that you dream up. The full size court is furnished with plenty of basketballs. The gym is open at all times and is lit during the evening. If your group plans on using the gym for a special activity, please schedule with us in advance.
Volleyball Court
Our sand volleyball courts are great places to come and bump a ball around with friends. They have lights, they're always open, and we'll have a ball waiting for you. One court is at the main camp and the other is in the Meadows next to Four Seasons.
Rec Field
Our main recreation field is about the size of a football field. There are two more smaller fields in the Meadows. They are great for playing football, ultimate frisbee, and much more.
Playground
The Tejas playgrounds are great for everyone. Swings, monkey bars, and jungle gym domes should keep anyone occupied. You are welcome to use either playground at your leisure. One is at the main camp and the other is in the Meadows next to Four Seasons.
Tennis Court
Challenge a friend to a match on our full size tennis court or use the area for any other type of game. Please remember to bring your own equipment. The tennis court is lit and available at all times.
Shuffleboard & Horseshoes
You can play horseshoes at the main camp and in the Meadows. The outdoor shuffleboard is at the main camp only.
Rodeo Arena (100' X 250' dirt area)
From freeze tag to mud football, the Tejas rodeo arena is very well lit and can be used in a variety of ways. Please let us know in advance if your group would like to use the rodeo arena so that we can prepare the area.
Hiking
You are more than welcome to take a stroll around the 150 acre property. Enjoy the beautiful Texas countryside. For safety, always let someone know where you are going.
